Overall description: Charter Oak Cigars hail from the same fertile valley in Connecticut that Master Tobacco Blender Nick R Agua aka Nick Melillo was born and raised. Charter Oak Cigars feature some of the most prized and sought after Cuban seed leaf varieties from the exquisite Esteli and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua. The cigars are then wrapped in either a silky, beautiful Connecticut Shade wrapper or a hearty and rich Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, leaving you with the perfect every day and every occasion cigar.

Overall:  Very rustic looking Connecticut wrapper with a strong vein on the outside but it did not alter or mess with the burn at all.  The closed foot I always enjoy and it lit perfectly.  It was a smoke house as it was pouring out smoke from beginning to end.  This hit on all cylinders and had me wanting more.  I wish it had another inch or two.  Had a lot of the typical Connecticut flavors but it was well balanced, with a good burn.  Without a doubt I will be getting more of these.

Overall:  New addition from Foundation Cigar Company hits it out of the park. The amount of flavor coming from this cigar is amazing and it kept my attention the entire time. The draw was perfect and the burn was razor sharp. I can’t believe I got sweet potato.  I cannot wait until these are release because this may be my favorite cigar out of IPCPR 2016. Nick hit it out of the park and I am super impressed. I need MORE!
