Overall:  Full Bodied.  This is another great cigar produced by Pete Johnson and Tatuaje Cigars.  The TAAs that have been produced have always been a favorite of mine, and it is nice to revisit them, and watch their progression with flavors.  This cigar was smoked ROTT (right of the truck), and man was it peppery.  The initial retrohale was very strong pepper, but this mellowed into the cigar as it progressed.  The young flavor profile of the cigar is peppery and leathery, with hints of raisin and cocoa  This is a cigar you should have a good meal before.  It would fit perfectly after a nice hearty steak dinner.  Definitely find this cigar and give it a shot.

Overall:  The wrapper is beautiful, construction is solid. Barnyard and cocoa on the nose. The start has a very strong pepper note in the retrohale, with rich notes of cocoa and barnyard. A sweetness develops into the second third, which nicely contrasts the earthy flavors. Into the final third some earth an oak comes forward, and while not particularly complex, the transitions of flavor have been nice. The burn was perfect, no touch-ups or relights. The strength landed in the med/full-full range.

Overall:  Solidly constructed cigar with a nice chocolate colored wrapper. This cigar packs a punch on the retrohale and has a prominent cocoa profile.  Very, very rich cocoa and black pepper engulf this cigar the entire process with small nuances of earth and oak. Straight as a razor burn with no draw issues.  Had to re-touch it once as I was blabbing about something to the crew. Strength was medium/Full to Full Strength for me.

Overall:  The 2016 TAA from Tatuaje marks the 6th year that Tatuaje has participated in the TAA exclusive series. This cigar is yet another excellent example of quality cigar experiences from the Pepin camp. From the delightful initial flavors received from the lighting of the closed foot to the last draw, this cigar lives up to the reputation Pete and Pepin have built with the Tatuaje brand. Excellent construction and good to the last drop.
